Introduction
Hello to all our readers, welcome to the official blog of TIN YÊU 9! My name is Jordan, and today I will be talking about TIN YÊU 9. You might be wondering, what exactly is TIN YÊU 9? Let me give you a quick rundown of our mission and the goals of this year's camp.
Day 1
Afternoon: Flag Ceremony and Introductions
The afternoon began with a chào cờ (flag ceremony), a moment of unity and respect. Following this, we introduced the organizing committee and the priests (quý Cha), setting the stage for a well-organized and spiritually enriching camp.
Our next activity involved HTDT Trạm 1 - JOF Station 1, where we focused on the 1st Luminous Mystery: The Baptism of the Lord (Matthew 3: 3-17). Over 60 minutes, we explored the significance of this mystery, reflecting on the meaning of Jesus' baptism and its impact on our own spiritual lives.
Night: Songs and Reflection at the Eucharistic Tent
We ended the day with uplifting songs and activities that transitioned into a peaceful time of Eucharistic Adoration. Gathered at the lều thánh thể, we spent time in quiet reflection and prayer, preparing our hearts for the days to come.
Day 2
Morning: Exercises and Breakfast
We started our day with a refreshing morning exercises and stretches to wake up our bodies and energize us for the day ahead. This was followed by HTDT Trạm 2 - JOF Station 2, where we focused on the 2nd Luminous Mystery: The Wedding in Cana (John 2:1-11). In a fun cooking competition, teams prepared their breakfast, embodying the spirit of abundance and teamwork celebrated in this mystery.
After the cooking competition, we held a ribbon ceremony recognizing achievements. This ceremony celebrated the campers’ growth and motivated them for continued development.
Afternoon: Proclamation of the Kingdom of God
After our ribbon ceremony, we focused on the Third Luminous Mystery, reflecting on the call to conversion and the proclamation of God’s kingdom. Discussions and activities helped deepen our understanding and commitment to living out the Gospel.
The next activity for the campers focused on the 3rd Luminous Mystery: The Proclamation of the Kingdom of God and the call to conversion, symbolizing repentance and the journey toward the light of God's Kingdom, as described in Mark 1:15.
Campers navigated a dark tunnel while blindfolded, symbolizing their journey from repentance to choosing Christ. They showed repentance through an action and said "Christ" to find their way to the light, reflecting Matthew 4:12-17.
